VERSATILE FLIP-UP HELMET

With the NEOTEC3, SHOEI continues its series of successful flip-up helmet models with "TEC" in the name. Whether in everyday city traffic, on evening trips to winding roads or on extended motorcycle tours with like-minded people - the NEOTEC3 impresses with outstanding features for all purposes.

Its large integrated QSV-2 sun visor offers excellent glare protection even when the sun is low.

Certified according to the current test standard ECE-R 22.06, the NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with the chin flap open at an appropriate speed thanks to P/J homologation. When the helmet is completely closed, an integrated, deeply branched ventilation system ensures fresh air and cooling.

The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINK interface allows the perfect integration of SENA's SRL3 MESH communication system.

Smooth exterior surfaces and transitions keep the noise exposure for the driver at a low level.

The micro ratchet closure on the pleasantly narrow chin strap makes it easier to put on and take off this incomparably high-quality flip-up helmet model from SHOEI.

SECURITY

The outer shell of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) in combination with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with different absorption capacities offers optimal impact protection that meets the requirements of the test standard ECE-R 22.06.

The SHOEI NEOTEC3 meets the requirements of this test standard for full-face helmets and jet helmets alike. A second, stable grid position allows the helmet to be used with the chin flap open and locked in place, in addition to the recommended use with the chin flap closed.

The standard, clear CNS-3C visor provides an almost unrestricted horizontal and vertical field of vision. The anti-fog PINLOCK EVO lens included with the helmet ensures unobstructed vision even in adverse weather conditions.

The pleasantly narrow chin strap with micro ratchet closure is comfortable to use and holds the helmet securely in position.

A stainless steel locking mechanism locks the chin guard safely and reliably in the closed position.

WEARING COMFORT

3 different outer shell sizes (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow a wide range of sizes for the SHOEI NEOTEC3 and at the same time an optimal ratio of helmet to rider size. A good balance of the helmet protects the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both in inner-city commuting and on extended tours or long motorcycle trips.

The three-dimensionally shaped head pad, the pre-shaped cheek pads with noise isolator and the chin strap pad are completely removable and washable. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses to allow the helmet to be adjusted individually. The fit of the helmet can be adjusted vertically using a pad that can be inserted in the upper head area.

Cheek pads with a voluminous underside that extend to the back of the head, together with the removable ear pads, effectively contribute to noise insulation.

The CNS-3C visor, which is fitted as standard, prevents draughts and rainwater from entering thanks to its characteristic upper edge that is inclined towards the helmet shell. It can be opened and closed securely with the locking mechanism positioned in the middle without twisting. For additional fresh air while driving, the visor mechanism allows the visor to be opened a crack wide. The visor can be changed without tools thanks to the tried and tested, self-adjusting quick-change mechanism.

The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 can be extended continuously and covers the usable field of vision almost completely, even downwards. It can be easily replaced with an optional, yellow-tinted visor with a contrast-enhancing effect without the need for tools. This additional visor ensures optimal visibility for many purposes and weather conditions.

Recesses in the ear area, prepared cable guides and installation positions for the device parts allow easy and quick installation of the SRL3 communication system from SENA, which is available in the SHOEI accessories range.

VENTILATION

Ventilation inlets directed directly into the wind take in fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI NEOTEC3.

A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering.

Raised ventilation controls allow operation even with thick gloves, allowing the helmet to be used in cold temperature zones or during the cold season.

AERODYNAMICS

Smooth surfaces and transitions reduce the helmet's wind resistance and the noise pollution for the wearer, but reveal the integrated spoilers on the sides and back of the helmet and thus the sporty character of the SHOEI NEOTEC3.

A stable mechanism ensures an eccentric rotation of the chin part when opening and closing, and enables the smallest possible gaps between the chin part and the helmet shell. The transition area between the chin part and the helmet shell is designed to be smooth in order to reduce turbulence in the ear area and the associated noise.

ACCESORIES

Visors in different tints and mirror finishes are available for the SHOEI NEOTEC3, which can be used in compliance with the ECE homologation guidelines. The helmet is equipped with a CNS-3C visor as standard. Anti-fog PINLOCK EVO lenses can be attached to all available visors of this type, one of which is included with the helmet.

The integrated, heavily tinted QSV-2 sun visor can be replaced with a yellow-tinted version with contrast-enhancing effect from the SHOEI accessories range.

SHOEI's range of accessories also includes cheek pads with or without noise isolators, head pads in different sizes and thicknesses, and a retractable pad for the upper head area. They can be used to replace the original pads or to adjust the fit of the helmet to individual needs.

Also available are a chin strap pad, a breath guard and a chin curtain in imitation leather.

The SRL3 Mesh communication system from SENA's range of SHOEI accessories can be used in the NEOTEC3's SHOEI COMLINK interface. When paired with a mobile phone, navigation device or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh offers the possibility of information and entertainment while driving and fits almost invisibly into the NEOTEC3 helmet shell. With its high-end speakers, high-quality microphone and harman/kardon sound system, the SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and crystal-clear voice transmission.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

The SHOEI NEOTEC3 comes with a PINLOCK EVO lens for use in the standard CNS-3C visor, matching replacement pins and a small maintenance tool that is helpful when installing the SRL communication system.

Also included are a breath guard, a chin curtain (already mounted), SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for careful storage of the helmet and a silicone oil for maintaining the visor seal and mechanism.

The helmet manual and the brochure “Correct use of your helmet” contain valuable information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI NEOTEC3.
