Safety

• Outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix)
  provides optimum impact protection in combination with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements of varying absorption capacity.
• Newly developed visor - CWR-F2
  Newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2 with a two-dimensional design, this visor provides a distortion-free and very natural view. Reinforcements at the upper and lower edge of the visor increase torsional rigidity, and a locking mechanism now located in the centre prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. It can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools thanks to a further developed mechanism of the predecessor model.
• PINLOCK®EVO lens included
  The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet allows unobstructed vision over a large part of the usable field of vision, even in difficult weather conditions, thanks to the mounting points that are set far back.
• Padded double-D fastener
  The chin strap with double-D closure is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place.
• EQRS-Systems (Emergency Quick Release System)
  In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed for gentle helmet removal thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System).
• Complies with the new ECE 22.06
  The new ECE standard for helmets - ECE 22.06 - has been in force in the EU since January 2021. This means even more safety in road traffic!

Wearing comfort

• 4 different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL)
  The different outer shell sizes make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes
• Light weight
  Its low weight relieves the neck muscles and thus reduces fatigue, whether in sporting use on the race track or on extended tours.
• Ergonomically developed padding
  The three-dimensionally contoured head padding, the pre-shaped cheek pads and the chin strap padding are completely removable and washable.
• Optimised outer fabric
  Lightly roughened but soft, quick-drying cover material reduces friction of the pads on the skin and ensures a comfortable feeling. The redesigned cheek pads make the helmet easier to put on and take off.
• Reduced noise pollution
  Thanks to their more voluminous underside, they reduce the wearer's noise exposure. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual adjustment of the helmet.
• Removable Ear Pads
  The removable Ear Pads in the ear area contribute effectively to noise reduction. In addition, these recesses in the ear area serve as placeholders for mounting a communication system.
• Maximum adaptability
  The cheek pads can be individually inserted into each helmet shell from 31, to 35, 39 and 43 mm per side. In addition, each side of the head can be individually adjusted again using 2 mm thick comfort layers. This is similar for the head padding. Here, head pads with a thickness of 5, 9 or 13 mm can be used. The helmet can therefore be individually adapted to almost any face shape!

Ventilation

• Optimised helmet interior climate
  The 6 ventilation inlets and 4 exhaust outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via a branched ventilation system inside the helmet shell and noticeably reduce the interior temperature and humidity inside the helmet. They always ensure a sufficient supply of fresh air for the rider without increasing the noise level. The result is a pleasant interior helmet climate for a concentrated and fatigue-free ride, both for sporty riding on the race track and for motorbike trips to warm countries.
• Easy to operate even with gloves on
  The sliders of the ventilation inlets are easy to feel even with gloves on

Aerodynamics

• Stable position even at high Speeds
  The integrated spoiler in the back of the head stabilises the helmet at higher speeds. The compact and aerodynamically optimised design of the SHOEI NXR2 reduces its wind resistance and lift tendency even further compared to the already low values of the predecessor model. This effectively relieves the rider's neck muscles and reduces the fatigue effect even on longer rides.
• Newly developed visor and sealing system
  Vortex generators on the edges of the visor and a newly developed visor seal minimise noise in the visor area.

Accessories

• Visors
  Visors are available for the SHOEI NXR2 in a variety of different tints and mirror coatings, which can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines. The helmet is equipped with a clear visor of the type CWR-F2 as standard. All visors of this type can be fitted with anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses, one of which is included with the helmet.
• Padding
  In SHOEI's range of accessories, cheek pads and head pads are available in various sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to customise the helmet.
• Small and spare parts
  Whether you need chin strap pads, a Breath Guard, Chin Curtain or a visor mechanism - we have almost all small and spare parts in stock!

• Free final assembly
  You configure your helmet - we assemble it in Ready to Ride. For example, you order an additional visor and would like to have the Pinlock fitted straight away? We do! Do you also want to fit the chin wind and breath deflectors? We will do that! You will receive your helmet Ready to Ride!
• Additional communication system? No problem!
  We also take care of the retrofitting of a communication system. Professional and proper installation by our trained team with subsequent update and a functional test we take over (costs you another 40,00€) - but if you order helmet and system together with us, then you get the installation free of charge! We are also happy to advise you on choosing the right system - just give us a call.
